Hadley End is approximately 1 mile from the lovely village of Yoxall which caters for most needs.  It has a beautiful church, 2 pubs, a newsagents with post office, a hairdresser and a beauty salon.

We have a butchers, fruit and veg stall, bakery, artisan gins and craft beers all available at Woodmill Barns which is half a mile away.  There is also a delightful cafe/restaurant at the Deer Park with a butchers, fruit and veg and gifts, again only half a mile away.

We are lucky to have so many places to visit within easy reach from our property. Whether its Staffordshire or Derbyshire depends on where your interests lie!  Hadley End is also on part of the National Forest Way - a long distance footpath covering 75 miles from the National Memorial Arboretum (7 miles away) in Staffordshire to Beacon Hill Country Park in Leicestershire.

Close to home we have Hoar Cross Hall Spa, St Georges Health Club & Spa (also home of the National Football Centre), Barton Marina, Staffs Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve at Brankley Pastures, Rosliston Forestry Centre, Tutbury Castle, Sudbury Hall, Shugborough Hall, Uttoxeter Racecourse, Claymills Victorian Pumping Station, Catton Hall.

A little farther away are Conkers Visitor Centre, Swadlincote Ski Slope, Snowdome, Tamworth Castle, Staffs Wildlife Trust Wolseley Centre, Drayton Manor, Calke Abbey, Twycross Zoo, Alton Towers, Trentham Gardens & Monkey Forest, Carsington Reservoir, Chasewater Country Park & Lake, Churnet Valley, Chatsworth House, Donington Park Circuit & Museum.

Cannock Chase (15 miles) and the Peak District (20 miles) are wonderful places to enjoy a day out at any time of year.

We are centred between the cathedral city of Lichfield and Burton-on-Trent.  Other towns within easy reach are Uttoxeter, Ashbourne and Derby.
